Parasitics are widely known and already much research has been done in the general direction and discovery on Parasitics. This report is rather for young units that might in the future - face the threat of such.
Parasitics are as the name suggests; Parasitic type of Animals, originating from Xen that are very commonly known as "headcrabs". This popular term, originates from the fact that a Parasitic feeds off a host, most oftenly a mammal, by directly attaching to it's head and slowly piercing through the skull and connecting it's nervous system with the Victim's brain. Allowing for direct control. Then with time it merges it's whole body with a victim body, allowing itself to feed.
Parasitics are known for very amazing and outstanding survability. As a Parasitic can survive up to 150 days without feeding. After a host body is deemed Dead by a Parasitic, it is likely that it chooses to leave it, by jumping off. Although that reaction is NOT due to the need for preserverance. In-fact Parasitics' brains seem to develop a bond with the Hosts' brains. As Parasitic brain lack any type of fear-inducing complexes, but as it's been said, they form a bond with the Hosts' brain and after attaching they can in fact feel it. As if the brains became one.
As the hosts' brain is unable to anyhow access the outside world, the Parasitic develops a few mutations to help itself survive. It develops claw to easily hunt the prey and to easily cut the meat of it's prey. The second mutation is a hole in the torso that it uses for breathing and feeding. It does that by placing the food in a small 3cm big hole in the digestive systems' beginning.
There are 3 major parts of a Parasitics' life:
-Childhood
-Adulthood
-Gonarchood
To explain; The Parasitics breed through the so called: "Gonarchs" which spawn them as smaller versions of an Adult Parasitic. As the Children are useless to the Parasitic-Bombs, because they cannot cause infection. They are instead placed in a secure area and grown until Adulthood. A Parasitic to grow up to Adulthood needs on average 40-50 days, depending on the conditions it lives in. Fortunately, Adulthood Parasitics cannot grow into Gonarchood, as the Earth's climate is too harsh for the evolutionary process that is required and the Human body cannot provide enough Food for an Adult Parasitic for him to grow big enough to enter Gonarchood.
The Biggest ever Parasitic to be measured was: 42cm Long, 27cm Tall and 32cm Wide.
Since the Xen Incident, there have been reports of many new strains of Parasitics that have Developed.
There were about 15 strains of parasitics, with 11 of them that have been completely eradicated, 3 existing and 1 very rare and almost impossible to find in nature.
The Known strains today are:
-Parasitic (The Normal Strain)
-Virome (The Poison Strain)
-Jumper (Fast Strain)
-Gonome (Rare Strain)
PARASITIC:
Parasitic is the normal strain, all the report about it is above, nothing out of usual.
VIROME:
Viromes were created by the ICE Unit: [REDACTED] from City [REDACTED].
They carry a highly lethal poisonous subtance and are known for their black skin.
The Poison needs an immidieate antidote, otherwise death will occur.
JUMPER:
Jumpers are naturally evolved Parasitics, that due to harsh conditioning have evolved longer and thiner Grasper limbs, allowing them for further, faster and more agile jumping.
GONOME:
Gonome, known as the Rare Strain, Rare Necrotic, or Elite Necrotic; are extremely rare and dangerous.
They appear to match the appearance of a Jumper, with a less decomposed look of the host.
They are just as fast as a Jumper, but they have developed a high sturdiness in combat.
Unit Reminder; Gonome type Necrotics are deemed extremely dangerous and in case of ecountering one, the unit should immidieately call for Support, Report their location and Ripcord.
End of Report.
